LATKES FOR BREAKFAST

Latkes in the morning
With sour cream
When I go to sleep at night
That’s what I dream

I don’t want one, two, three or four
I’ll eat a thousand or maybe more
Golden brown and so delicious
With applesauce they are nutritious
Potatoes and eggs, salt and pepper
A little bit of onion, now mix it all together

Better than brisket, or apples and honey
Some kids like gelt and birthday cake
